Student Center Room 200
Learn more about your leadership skills, strengths, values, beliefs, and emotions. Identify tools and resources that allow you to understand yourself, others and how to approach and respond in different leadership situations.
Registration starts at 9:30am followed by the keynote speaker at 10am, two 50-minute workshops and lunch (which is on us!).
Please note: Registration will close on the Wednesday prior to the event (Nov. 4, 2015). Students that register and fail to cancel by that day will not be eligible to apply for the LeaderShape Institute and will have hours deducted from their semester total.

Leadership Resource of the Week
Perception is an important thing to remember when showcasing yourself and talents online and in-person. The way you dress, speak, and act can open or close doors, based simply on how someone perceived you. While it may not be the most ideal thing to conform to societal standards and expectations, they are something to think about when looking for a job, networking, and even when you're talking to friends online.
In the article "Is Your Career Affected by the Clothes You Wear" author Jeff Hadden shares his own personal experience dealing the expectations and reality of clothing in the workplace.
