Parent Night

We will be holding our first Parent Night of the Year. This term's topic is our schools Policies on Drills. This includes drills such as active shooter, Shelter in place and reunification drills. It is important that as many parents as possible come because we are planning our reunification practice drill which will require parents to be in the know. We will also have Farmington Police department present to talk about their role in our procedures. This parent night is September 29th at 5:00 - 5:45 pm, during Parent Teacher Conferences. We will be streaming it on Facebook for those who cannot attend.

9th Grade Night

Save the date! October 4th from 6:00 -7:00 will be our 9th grade night. If you have a 9th grader please plan on attending this informative meeting. School counselors from area high schools will be there to answer questions about graduation requirements and registration. We will also have former Ascent students there to answer questions about what it is like to leave our small school and attend a school with a thousand or more students. This evening will help ease fears and get your student excited about the opportunities ahead!

Plan for College and Career Readiness

During parent teacher conferences, September 29-30th, the school counselor will begin holding the Plan for College and Career Readiness (PCCRs) interviews with the 9th graders. If you would like to attend that meeting with your student, will you please reach out to Mrs. Anderson at manderson@ascentutah.org to schedule a time with her? During PCCRs, high school graduation requirements are outlined and instructions are given on how to register for high school.
