The PTO Executive Board Nomination process is complete. We have found a great team of parent volunteers eager to serve you on the Gemini PTO Executive Board for the 2023-2024 school year. Please take a moment to follow the link to cast your vote! The deadline for votes is April 28th at 8am. The new board will be announced at the last PTO meeting that morning at 8:15am in the cafeteria. Only one vote per individual please. Thank you for your participation.

Teacher Appreciation Week - May 1-5
Help us celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week! Come aboard and help host a culinary trip around the world with a special breakfast and lunch for all Gemini employees each day. We would love your help to make this week special for all the teachers and staff that care for our children every day.
Below please find the link for supplies and volunteer opportunities that we will need. Each day will cost approximately $500, so if you would like to donate to help with the costs, please send your donation to the school in an envelope marked to Gemini PTO, write your child's name and teacher's name on the outside OR you can make the payment online to our Venmo account @GeminiPTO account. Please write your child's name in the notes box so I know who it's from! As always, we appreciate your support for our teachers and school!

Re-Enrollment (Registration) Information for 2023-24
Dear Gemini Families,
Enrollment (registration) has changed for the school year 2023-24. If your child is currently enrolled at Gemini Elementary you can begin the re-enrollment process now. Re-enrollment for returning students will be completed online through Focus. Log onto your Focus parent portal and follow the instructions below to re-enroll your child. Be advised that you will upload any necessary documents, such as proof of residency, directly into Focus. The student enrollment will be completed each year digitally on focus to capture the most up to date information. You will use the parent portal if any changes need to be made throughout the year.
A parent portal account is required to complete the online re-enrollment process. If you need to establish a Focus parent portal account, contact Tiffani Reynolds at 321-727-3090 X45005.

Morning Mile
A blustery morning saw 6th graders Trent LaJoie and Sebastian Mandese reach big milestones! This is Trent’s first time running a victory lap.He’s been a regular on the field this year and can always be counted on for some fast laps. Sebastian celebrated 400 miles! Sebastian is looking to set a personal record of 500 miles this year and almost never takes a morning off. Inspiring!
Next up, sisters Ella (6th) and Amelia (1st) Drapeau rounded the field for 300 and 200 miles, respectively. The entire Drapeau family are regulars on the field making a healthy habit a family affair. Ella can always be seen running at the front of the Morning Mile pack and Amelia is one of our youngest 200 milers. These speedy and competitive sisters ran their victory laps together in an exciting race off. Great job girls!
Please support Morning Mile by participating in the Run for the Gecko 5k on Saturday May 13. Team Gemini is currently in second place and we need your help to win prize money to help support the program. Youth registration is only $10 and every participant under 14 earns points for Team Gemini. Participants will also get credit for 25 straws / laps and a super cool charm for their necklace. Hope to see you there!

Pirate Plunder 2 Miler
Congratulations to all the Gemini participants in the Pirate Plunder 2 Miler.
Gemini came in 1ST PLACE overall for school participation.
We also had some amazing Jetstars who placed in their age categories.
In 0-8 year-old males, Alex Juckiewicz lost his shoe in the first mile but still came in 1st place with a time of 15.27!
Creed McNall came in 2nd place with a time of 15.33
In 9-11 year-old females Ella Drapeau came in 3rd place with a time of 16.56
In 12-14 year-old females Maggie McNall came in 2nd place with a time of 14.47

ESE Parent Survey
Here is the link to the ESE Parent Survey. Survey can be taken from March 22, 2023 through June 30, 2023. This survey is open to all parents of children with an IEP receiving ESE services from preschool age through grade 12.
