Siegel started his criminal activity in Brooklyn, New York. In 1918, Siegel befriended Meyer Lansky and they formed the Bugs-Meyer gang or Murder Inc. Siegel also continued his criminal life in Beverly Hills and then later in his life he set up shop in Las Vegas. Siegel was also a prominent member of the syndicate formed by Charles Luciano
Crimes
Bugsy Siegel was involved in many crimes. He built his empire through bootlegging, assassinations, gambling, and prostitution. Siegel was one of four men to execute Sicillian mobster Joe "the Boss" Masseria
Death
Bugsy Siegel died on June 20, 1947. He was brutally killed when bullets flew through the window of his home. It is believed that Siegel was murdered on syndicate orders
