April Highlights

In April we enjoyed learning about our country and world. We discussed the importance of caring for our Earth and celebrated Earth Day. We walked around our school to pick up any litter we could find and we reused items to make them into new creations!

We learned about the life cycle of many animals. We learned certain cycles by acting out the different stages.

We learned the difference between tally charts, bar graphs, and picture graphs.

The class was surveyed to obtain data to make the graphs and charts with.

We began measuring using nonstandard objects. We had the most fun measuring our friends using objects of our choice. We also have started our lesson on telling time. We are able to read time on an analog and digital clock. We will continue learning time to the hour and to the minute in May.
