December 1, 2021 Newsletter
See translation information below / Consulte la información de traducción a continuación.
Greetings,
Welcome back! I hope that each of you had an enjoyable break. Today is December 1. It’s a new month, and in a few days, we will also be starting a new trimester. I have a few updates related to the trimester change.
Upcoming Schedule Reminders
- There is no school for students on Friday, December 3 and Monday, December 6. These days are for grading, communication, and professional learning.
- Trimester 2 begins Tuesday, December 7.
Report Cards
- Details will be shared in next week’s newsletter about when report cards will be available and how you will be able to access them.
Trimester 2 Resources
- Please watch for information from your child’s learning advocate about when resources for Tri 2 will be available for pick-up. Learning advocates will also share information regarding which learning resources will need to be returned at this time.
Thank you for your partnership throughout the first trimester. Relationships have been strengthened between students, learning advocates and families. The learning environments feel safe and welcoming and classroom expectations and routines are clear and familiar. I am looking forward to great learning for students as we move into Trimester 2.
Please reach out to me or the learning advocates with any questions or concerns.
Take care,
Kimberly Fehringer

Want to join the Opportunities in Emergency Care (OEC) program in making a difference? OEC is kicking off its 25th annual Adopt a Family fundraiser drive to raise money to purchase Christmas gifts for students and families in Spring Lake Park Schools.
