2018-19: Leading the Herd (1)
Welcome Back, Longhorns!
Please read all the way through to the end of this newsletter. It contains an exciting piece of information just for you!
We can't wait to see your smiling faces at Meet the Teacher this week! Remember that if you will be walking your child to class on the first day, you will want to drop your license off so we can run your V-soft sticker while you walk around. Pick up your tag on the way out, and you will be able to skip the long line on Day 1!
Walking your children back:
Any/Every Day - All parents may walk to the Hug&Kiss zone in the foyer, and children will continue past the hallway doors on their own (We always have staff in the hallways to help!)
Day 1 (August 21) - All grades; parents must have visitor sticker
Days 1-3 (August 21, 22, 23) PK and Kdg; parents must check in at front desk and get visitor sticker
Days 1-5 (August 21, 22, 23, 24, 27) PK; parents must check in at front desk and get visitor sticker
PK/K - No lunch visitors during Week 1, please.
Thank you! This helps us ensure that staff attention is focused on children and safe protocols are in practice.
Meet Your Kindergarten Teacher: Mrs. Robbins, room 113
My name is Mandy Robbins and I am blessed to have been teaching in Montgomery ISD since 2003. I graduated from Texas A&M in December of 2001-WHOOP!- and began my teaching in Conroe. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Nathan. We have twin girls, Addison and Camryn who are freshman at Lake Creek this year, and our son Brantley is a 6th grader at Oak Hills. I spend a lot of my time at soccer and sporting events, but our family also loves to go camping and float the Frio or Guadalupe River.
