Tech Tip from Mrs. Pool
The Selection Reader Chrome extension will read any highlighted text aloud. Once it's installed, just highlight the text you want it to read, then click the icon in your toolbar. It might be a good resource for struggling readers or EL students, especially for use in classes other than ELA. They can add the extension in chrome anytime they are logged into a chromebook.
Click here to find the extension in the Chrome web store.

Robotics Camp--6th grade Dec. 11 and 13
We changed to only having 1 6th grade camp.We are having ONE 6th grade camp (12/11 & 12/13). We plan to give them two days from 3:05-5:00 to explore by completing challenges in pairs then concluding it with a showcase on the second day from 5-5:30 where their families can come see what they have been doing.
In January we will repeat the process with 5th grade. We hope this will give every student in our building that wants to explore robotics the opportunity to do so.
Fill the bus 2018---Dec. 3-Dec. 13
We have toys collecting in the office but we need more! Please encourage your students to bring new unwrapped toys to FILL THE BUS for kids who need them in our community! Gift cards would be great for the older kids!
We need to help do our part to FILL THE BUS with new toys! We will have a box set up in the office to drop off new toys as they are brought.
