Sports and Activities Announcements
This Friday night your Boys Track team took 3rd at the Grayslake Central invite and had some outstanding performances and a lot of personal records in some pretty cold temperatures. The 4 x 100 relay of Jack Bucar, Brandon Marks, Deven Floyd-Pickett and Martin Cohen took 2nd and their time of 43.8 puts them near the top in the area. The 4x800 relay of Cole Loicano, Carter Webb, Tyler Miller and Anton Augusto took 2nd. Too many other athletes placed 3rd or had some great performances. However, the best performance of the night came from Roddy Rathmann in the discus with a 1st place finish in the disc with a heave of 144 feet.....not only blowing the field away, but already placing him near the top in the state!.
