Shorewood Hills Shark Tooth
November 6th, 2020
What a busy couple of weeks we've had! With all that is happening our world right now, I do hope that everyone is taking care of themselves. Self-care is so important. I try and remind myself that the more I take care of myself, the better I can care for and support my family, staff, students! I hope everyone can get outside this weekend and enjoy some of this beautiful weather we've been having.
I don't have any major announcements for you this week. But, there are some good reminders and pieces of info for you to know below.

News from the Library
Hello Shorewood Families,
You will be receiving information about a book check out program that is starting this month. In addition to those print materials, there are lots of online reading options through ClassLink. The Madison Public Library system is also a great source of reading materials for your students.
Please contact me if you have any questions. You can send your questions at any time, but please know that I'll also be available to answer questions during our fall conference day.

Reminder: Join Cub Scouts Pack 302!
The great outdoors are still open, and so is another year of Cub Scouting! Pack 302 is now accepting boys and girls ages 5 through 10 to join Cub Scouts. For this year, the pack will begin with small-group, outdoor activities safely conducted under the supervision of volunteer leaders and other parents. Virtual and individual activities will occur throughout the year, as well. The methods might be different, but the purposes of Scouting are the same—teaching youth lifelong lessons in leadership, citizenship, the outdoors, and lots of other skills.
Applications can be started here, or search for Pack 302 at BeAScout.org. Annual dues are required, but financial assistance may be available. Any questions about membership or activities can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
