There is not much to report. The following laws will be debated by the States of Jersey. There is also a large quantity of paperwork for discussion in connection with Jersey draft States budget for the calendar year 2015.
Due to the Jersey elections on Wednesday 15th October, the next States meeting is scheduled for 3rd November 2014.

- Proposition: Draft Income Tax (Amendment No. 44) (Jersey) Law 201-.
This law aims to simplify, modernise and make more consistent the Jersey tax provisions relating to occupational pension schemes and personal pension schemes. It will also see retirement annuity trust schemes re-named as retirement trust schemes and permit non-resident individuals to contribute to such schemes in future.
- Proposition: Draft Freedom of Information (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Jersey) Regulations 201-.
This law extends the time limit for a public authority to deal with a request for information to 65 working days and permits a code of practice to be issued by the Information Commissioner.
