Another week has come and gone, and we are on the cusp of a 3 day weekend! MLK Jr. Day is Monday, and there is no school. Did you know, that Denver hosts one of the largest Martin Luther King Jr. celebrations in the country? If you are looking for something interesting to do, head downtown to Civic Center Park and check out all the cool things happening to honor MLK.

On the horizon for the school, we will be opening up a survey to families, the "HRS" or Highly Reliable Schools survey, beginning January 31st and running through February 11th. To encourage parents to participate in the survey, Westy Academy will be giving away Walmart and McDonalds gift cards, a pair of Airpods and a brand new Chromebook!

Take the survey, and your name will be entered into the drawings for these awesome gifts! Be on the look out for the link to the survey as the 31st approaches.

Spring Parent Teacher Conferences have been scheduled for the end of next month, look for communication on signing up for conferences over the next few weeks.
