Scientists found a gene called GNAQ that was responsible for 45 precent of the cases of uveal melanoma ( Eye cancer)
Symptoms
Growing dark spots on the iris, sensation of flashlights, alteration in the shape of pupil, blurring, loss of vision.
Causes
Major cause is too much exposure to sunlight, or UV light. Also, HIV can trigger cancer most likely because of the effect of the virus on our immune system.
Can it be spread
Eye cancer is a genetic disease. Thats can be pasted on through generation and generations.
Treated/ Diagnosed/ How to prevent it
Treatments for eye cancer are 95% successful witch means that 95% of patients make a full recovery.
