Meet our New Staff!
Melissa Keck
I am mom to two Mount Everest Academy students, and am excited to be joining the MEA as a staff member! I will be supporting teaching and learning on campus, updating the school’s website and Monday Messages, and will continue running MEA’s Dungeons & Dragons Quest Club.
I grew up as a Navy kid, but have called Clairemont home for nearly a decade. I attended the University of Missouri on a Navy ROTC scholarship, graduating with a degree in Mathematics. After college I served as an officer in the US Navy for a few years, which allowed me to travel all over the world. I enjoy spending my free time with my family and our many cats. I love to tinker and build things, from small home projects to building computers. I also enjoy arts and crafts, and like to dabble in watercolor painting and ceramics.
