definitions:
Complementary medicine- treatments given along with allopathic treatment and not in place of it.
Holistic medicine- considers and treats the entire person who is sick, in difference to treating the medical condition or certain disease.
Alternative Medicine- other medical systems other than allopathic or traditional (conventional) western medicine
Allopathic medicine-aims to defend disease by using drugs or surgery which produce effects that are different from those of the disease being treated.
Examples of them
Complementary medicine- using painkillers and acupuncture for back pain
Holistic medicine- good nutrition and exercise to lose weight
Alternative Medicine- cleansing with herbalism for acne
Allopathic medicine- getting back surgery

Disadvantages:

Allopathic- some people don't believe it, lack of scientific evidence
