Azuki Kitchen - leaving for Japan for a few weeks & news about Bob
Also, our dear friend Bob from Bradbury Honey is back in the hospital. I spoke with him on Tuesday and he's in good spirits but we definitely need to keep him in our prayers for comfort and continued healing.

Plants for your garden!
Whether you're an experienced gardener or a first timer, our local farmers are here to help. They have some amazing plants listed on the market! Here's a link to some tips if you are new to the whole gardening thing https://georgiaorganics.org/for-gardeners/do-it-yourself/starting-your-spring-garden/
If you have little ones, give them a little plot of land to plant and take care of. Great way to have family fun and teach responsibility! I started my kids off with easy herbs. My daughter's favorite is basil. She loves to pick in the summer for her favorite caprese salad. My son continues to be proud of his never ending "mint garden" we planted over 5 years ago!
Check out all the plant and seedling listings on the market this week and the upcoming weeks as they become available! Perennials and annuals available! https://suwanee.locallygrown.net/market/index/121094

Build out Update
Update: We've run into a construction snag and our permits to build bathroom is still at Fire Marshall's office. Once the bathroom is built I'll have a better estimate of our Grand Opening date. Right now, it's looking like a June opening. Still chugging along and doing stuff behind the scenes. So excited about what's happening!!
- Calling all artists! We'll be featuring local art in our new market as well. Contact me for more details. We'd love to showcase your artwork.
- Any t-shirt designers out there? I could use the help if anyone loves designing t-shirts. Also, If anyone knows a good t-shirt printer please let me know. Looking to make some very soon!
If you are a new member you may not know about this. Please check out this information about upcoming changes to the market. Please read letter below and/or watch video.

PLEASE HELP! Volunteers Needed at pick up!
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! We need 3 volunteers this Wed, 5/8 at 2pm, 3pm, and 5pm.
Please consider volunteering during market pick up. I can’t run the market without your help! Shifts are 1 hour long and go by really fast. It's a great opportunity to meet and help your fellow members!
Thank you Michele, Gwen, Miki, Chuck, and Diana for volunteering last Wednesday! We couldn't have the co-op without our amazing volunteers!!
If you are interested in volunteering but unsure exactly what that involves, please let Nora know and she will do a quick "volunteer orientation" with you on a day/time that you pick up.
