St Joseph's Catholic School Morrinsville 3rd August 2021
PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Nau mai haere mai,
A special welcome to our newest member, Beauden Hunter who started in Akonga Hub last week. Beauden is very proud to have his sister Breah and brother Tanner at school already. Welcome Beauden!
We are very excited to take part in the Waikato Catholic Cultural Hui Te Hui Ahurea this Friday 6 August, held at Elim Church, 21 Maui St Pukete. Our year 5-8 students will be leading our Kapahaka as we showcase our talents alongside nine other Catholic Schools. We would love you to join us!
A mid-term update is going to be sent home on Thursday with each child. This is following on from the Student-Led Conferences. The teachers have really enjoyed writing a comment about learning for the children. You will also have an understanding of the key competencies as well. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch with your child's teacher.
We would like to wish our Catholic Intermediate Schools Maths Team, all the very best as they compete against a range of teams from our Hamilton Catholic Schools on Wednesday. Go St Joes!
This term has started with a bang. We have lots of activities taking place this term as we organise teams to compete in the Matamata-Piako Gymnastics Festival held mid term. We are entering cheerleading, hip hop and aerobic teams as well. Watch this space!
Tomorrow (Wednesday) is our Opening Term Mass which will be held in the St Joseph's Church at 10 am. Please come along and join us.
We hope you have a lovely week and God Bless.
