They are committed to Trauma Informed Care, equity and child and family well-being continue to be unwavering. Representing WellPoint Care Network are: Emma Papenfus-Child and Family Therapist, and
Carey Jacobsen-Director of Clinical Services.
Spotlight on Learning: Inclusive Education
Members of the Richfield Middle School team who have been operating under the teachings of Paula Kluth presented to the Board on Inclusive Education and literally started their presentation with a spotlight! They began by defining the inclusive environment and how it benefits all of our students. This philosophy has led HHASD to implement and embrace co-teaching. The team reviewed the various co-teaching models and the benefits to co-teaching for both students and staff, and how co-planning plays a vital role in the success of co-teaching. After providing us with a foundation of co-teaching, the team reviewed their goals, experiences, and student impact. Next up: Music!
