Celebrations, Care, and Concern in our MMS Family
Continued prayers for the Tucker family as well as the Fingado Family. Blaine appreciates any letters or cards you can send to their home address as email is not as user friendly for his eyes right now. Bailey Burchett will have knee surgery on June 11th with a possible ACL repair. Please also remember to think about the students who may need assistance over the summer. Send any names of concern to guidance counselors.
Congratulations to former staff member Chris Gammon on the birth of his daughter, Kennedy Blake, on 5/14/15. Congratulations to our new Assistant Principal, Alicia Davis, and our new Head Custodian, Betty Wilson. Congratulations to Ms. Gonzalez's daughter who presented her Gateway project this week! Congratulations to Courtney, Karen Smith's granddaughter, who graduated from UNCC this past weekend and already has a job. She also got engaged to Dylan West with a wedding to follow in 2016.From Ms. Clark: I would like to acknowledge all of the wonderful help teachers and staff have provided for athletic events this year. Our athletic department could not function without this assistance. And a big shout out to all of our coaches and Athletic First Responders that do such a great job with our student athletes. I am constantly getting positive remarks about their sportsmanship and what a class act they are from other coaches and officials. It is not an easy job, and they do it because they love their sports and the kids. I am so blessed to work with all of these wonderful people!
