Technology Resources for Parents
Common Sense Media is an organization that helps parents and educators sort through technology decisions for kids. Here is the website, you may want to bookmark it:
https://www.commonsensemedia.org/
On this site, you will find resources, reviews, concerns, parent guides, videos, news and advice. If you create an account, your resources will be specific to you and to the age of your kids. We find this to be the most exhaustive online resource when it comes to digital citizenship.
Here is another Google resource for parents that has information and interactive games and videos to help talk about digital citizenship at home:
Parenting with Technology
Healthy Media Habits for Young Children
Balancing technology use when kids are at home can be hard. Consider these 5 tips when using technology at home.
1. Choose the good stuff (and not too much!)
2. Don’t use screens right before bed, and keep them out of the bedroom overnight.
3. Turn off the TV if nobody is watching it.
4. Make time for enjoying media with your kids, especially reading.
5. Practice what you preach. Remember, your kids are watching you.

From Our Nurse
Please speak with your child about handwashing and the spread of germs. We ask that you not send your child to school if he/she has a temperature of 100 or higher without medication, vomitting or diarrhea and must be free of any of these for 24 hours prior to returning to school. Medications needed at school must have physician orders, and medications need to be brought in by a adult. Thank you for your help keeping the kids safe and healthy!
