Patty Paper

Patty Paper may now be used on AIR tests. This can be a great help in geometry. Each high school Math I and Math II teacher should have received a pack of 1000 sheets to practice with. Each high school should have received a pack to use on testing dates. Each 8th grade teacher should have received a pack, as well.

New Resources for MS AIR Testing

As you know, ODE provides sample released test items and practice items for each AIR test. We are taking each grade level's questions and arranging them by state standard into one large, complete document. We now have Math 6, Math 7, and Math 8 ready to go (see below). You can also download these items in the Digital Binder.

NEW PLDs for Integrated Math I and II

Performance Level Descriptors help us understand where kids are in each course. However, they can be confusing as they span multiple pages. We have compiled all the information for each course into one spreadsheet. Please check them out and let us know what you think. Once edited, they will be added to the Digital Resource Binder.

Equatio Webinar Available

Thanks to those who attended last month's webinar. You can view the presentation at the link below. Find out how to turn on new formulas and use the extremely helpful "predictive" feature.

Geometry proofs are test on AIR test in ways that we don't always teach. For instance, students often are given a proof with missing reasons and/or statements. They then choose from a list of choices from an answer bank. They drag and drop these choices into the proof to complete their response.

If you have not created a free account with Edulastic, it is highly recommended. You can even sign in with your CCS Google account.
