** The ensemble recitals occur in various rooms at CLHS and some are as early as 5:30 pm. In the past, the ensemble recital was followed by “Bites at the Lake” which was an epicurean night with food samples from local restaurants and raffles on various themed baskets containing products and services from area businesses. This year, we are scaling back substantially, but would still like to provide refreshments to celebrate the achievements of our students. If you have any ideas or would like to be on the committee to help, then please text Ruth Soisson at 281-728-4082.

Band Banquet

Planning will begin soon for the Band Banquet which will take place in May. All band students attend, but the focus is a celebration of the seniors! The first step is to secure the date and the venue. After that, details will be planned and implemented such as overall budget, theme, decorations, food, desserts, senior gifts, etc. The Band Council and the directors act as Masters of Ceremony, taking care of the entertainment, slide show, etc.
