Big image

In November, the BHS JROTC registered for the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP).The CMP manages all rifle marksmanship for the United States.

In December, they shot the qualifying postal match. The team of 4 cadets shot a 1017

The winners of that National Level Championship get to represent Army JROTC in the Service Championships against the cadets from Marine Corps JROTC, Air Force JROTC & Navy JROTC.

The BHS team score of 1017 was 20th Place in the Nation vs. other Army JROTC Programs. They placed third in the State of Alabama behind Daleville HS JROTC (6th Place) and Enterprise HS JROTC (10th Place). Nationally, there were a total of 185 Army JROTC Teams that shot the qualification postal.
