Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week

If you can read this, thank a teacher! May 4th-May 8 is Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week.

The 3rd grade students had a masterful performance of Big Big World on Thursday April 30th. Students sang a multitude of great songs such as Big Big World, I Don't Wanna Wait, Keep it Green, 50 Ways to Fool Your Mother, and more. Big Big World is a musical by Bill Harley. We congratulate all the 3rd grade students for a job well done. We also want to thank the 3rd grade teachers for all of their support. Lastly, we would like to thank Mrs. Przybylowski for all of her hard work and coordination of this performance. We truly are blessed to have someone so talented and passionate as Mrs. Przybylowski.

We are all done our testing. We have completed the English Language Arts, Math, and Science tests. There will have make-ups for those that have been absent during the testing window. Our students and teachers have worked extremely hard and we are proud of their efforts.

4th grade Orientation & Olympics

Our CES 4th graders visited Elkins Park on Friday. Students had an opportunity to tour the building, meet EP staff, and some performances by EP students. In addition, students from all four elementary schools participated in the annual 4th grade Olympics. Students were divided into various teams and had an opportunity to compete in a multitude of events. This gave students an opportunity to make new friends and mingle with students from other schools. There will be a 4th grade parent orientation on Wednesday, May 14th, at 7:00pm at Elkins Park. (new updated time!)

Recently the 1st grade team received the following news, "We are excited to inform you that your school has been selected as one of the top 20 finalists! You may view the entire list of finalists on our website early next week by clicking on the link below:"
