Noteworthy Notes
Tomorrow we are encouraging students to wear Pink (or red) to support Girl's High School Volleyball in their commitment to the Sideout Foundation's research and treatment of breast cancer. One of our teachers who is also a coach, Ms. Cincotta, has her team's Breast Cancer Fundraiser Game tomorrow night at WHS at 6:00 and we are supporting them by wearing pink (or red) all day. Whatever percentage of our students wear pink or red we will donate that many dollars to the Foundation. Also, optional $1 dollar donations are being accepted to support the cause as well!
2. Gabriel Bol Deng Assembly
Next week on October 25th, Gabriel Bol Deng will be speaking here at Mill Pond at 6:30 PM open to the entire Westborough community presented by Westborough Connects. His message is one of hope and resilience about his experiences as one of the Lost Boys of Sudan and his journey as a child from a war-torn country to the United States. In collaboration with this event, we will be having Gabriel come to present to students that morning. We are truly excited to have him come to speak! Please contact your child's school counselor if you feel your child may be sensitive to these topics.
