Warwick Weekly

January 2, 2020

Big picture
Our weeklies will be emailed and posted on our web page most Thursdays in the evening. The newest points of interest will appear at the top along with a review of the previous week and things to look forward to for the next week. We include links to our Warwick Parent/Guardian Handbook and a page where we curate previously publicized flyers for easy referral. If you have ideas on how to improve our Warwick Weekly as a means of communication, "we want to hear from you." Please use the online feedback form that can be found at the end of each Weekly to share your ideas, thoughts, and concerns with us.

Farewell & Thank you, Mrs. Carin Richter!

Mrs. Carin Richter has been a Warwick Bear her entire life. Having attended Warwick as a student herself, she recently retired from Central Bucks School District after serving our students, staff, and families in Warwick's Main Office for the past 20 years. With all of the love and appreciation we have for Mrs. Richter, it was difficult to honor her wishes to keep her retirement a secret. On her last day, the last day of school before Winter Break, our faculty and staff crowded into the Main Office to say thank you, share hugs and tears, and wish Mrs. Richter the very best in retirement. If you and your family would like to make or send a card for Mrs. Richter, please drop it off in the office.

New Attendance Email

Now, in addition to having a Warwick Attendance Hotline where you can call in absences at any time (267-893-4055), we have a new Warwick Attendance Email for the same purpose. You may email warwickattendance@cbsd.org at any time and one of our office staff will record your student's absence excuse. Additionally, we always encourage parents/guardians to email homeroom teachers when students are absent.

NOTE: The Warwick Attendance email should not be used for immediate changes in dismissal time or sudden appointments.

For more information regarding Warwick Attendance procedures and CBSD Attendance Policies, please visit our Attendance web page.

Kindergarten registration began on November 19! Families of new students who are eligible to enroll in kindergarten in the 2020-2021 school year are invited to begin the registration process. Get the details on eligibility, what documents to gather, and how to navigate the online registration process at www.cbsd.org/registration. We look forward to welcoming the class of 2032!
