What Is Google My Maps?

Google My Maps allows you to create custom maps to share and publish online. Maps can include pinned locations, lines, and shapes. All items can include embedded images, links, and videos. Content can be customized to include different colors, marker icons, and labels to make features stand out.


All My Maps are saved to your Google Drive account.

How do I access My Maps?

1. Go to http://google.com/mymaps
NOTE: You can also access My Maps from Google Drive. Click the NEW button, click More, click Google My Maps.

2. Click the Create a new map button.

3. If you aren't logged into your GCCISD Google Account, log in.
NOTE: All staff and students have GCCISD Google Accounts. Click below to learn more.

4. Begin adding content. Watch the video below for step-by-step instructions.
