Eccles Wednesday News

Below are some school highlights for you to be aware of...

School Drop-off

As a reminder the admittance bell rings at 8:45am which is when our doors open for students. School starts at 9am.
Please help us by not dropping off your students prior to 8:45am. We do not have staff supervision available prior to this time. Thank you.

Picture Day

Tuesday, September 28th is Picture Day--so get those outfits prepped and practice that cheesy smile! Today picture packets are going home with your children. Picture day information and online ordering are also available by visiting and searching for our school’s name. Your online order can be placed before and up to four (4) days after picture day. Some of Dorian's helpful tips are included in the image below.

Parent/Teacher Conferences

Parent/Teacher Conferences are the week of October 11th. We will be sending a digital conference sign-up this Friday.

Student Dismissal Changes

If your plan for how your student(s) needs to go home changes during the day you must call the front office to notify us directly. Office staff will then notify classroom teachers. Please make every effort to solidify these plans prior to the school day beginning and/or call the office as early as possible.

Recess - New Mandates

Beginning this week we will be following the newest guidelines for when we are outside by implementing the following practices.
- Staff must now wear masks and distance 6 feet.
- Students will be encouraged to either wear a mask or distance 6 feet during recess.

Digital Learning

We are close to having iPads in the hands of all of our students. Digital learning is an important part of how we do school anymore. My intent is that we practice frequently with our iPads what our students should know to access learning at home. This is to help our students be prepared in the event that they must spend any time learning from home this year.
