Bailey's Bulletin

Parents,

We had a great week and a FANTASTIC Friday as we celebrated with so many families during the 2019 Bike Rodeo. Thank you for making this a fun and fabulous day for all involved.

This week, we are kicking off a KINDNESS CAMPAIGN. See below with some special events for students and teachers throughout the remainder of October.

10/7, Make a Difference Monday: Smile, fist bump, or high five three people today--- Be the reason someone smiles!

10/8, Pay it Forward Tuesday:

It is awesome to do something nice for someone else and spread a little love! Students are encouraged to do something nice for another person! Admin will cover lunch duty for teachers.

10/9 Welcoming Wednesday: We will have signs, posters, and music welcoming kids on Wednesday morning starting at 7:15am. Make someone feel welcome by introducing yourself to someone new.

10/10 Thankful Thursday: Students and staff will let a teacher, staff member, custodian, cafeteria worker, or a police officer on campus know why they are thankful for them.

10/11 Fun Friday: Students will have a movie during lunch!

For the rest of October, students will have a daily kindness challenge on morning announcements. The random acts of kindness topics below will be highlighted each day on morning announcements and in their classroom Morning Meetings!

10/15 Invite someone new to play at recess or at home

10/16 Let someone go ahead of you in line

10/17 Compliment a friend

10/18 Clean up your area without being asked

10/21 Hold the door open for someone
