Birthday Books

Our student council is doing a great job with morning announcements each day. On your child’s birthday, a student council rep comes to your child’s classroom with the birthday book cart. Students get to choose a book, a pencil and receive a bookmark made by a student council member. A big thank you to our PTO for purchasing several popular titles to add to our birthday book collection.

FANTASTICOS UNITE!

On Thursday, our school community was joined by Lynda Hunt, the author of FISH IN A TREE, for an AWESOME online author visit! All students and staff laughed, learned more about the author, and enjoyed learning about her fishtastic writing process as well as her life! Ask your child about it today!

Throughout the week, students started to work on their Sketch of an Impossible Thing that will be included in our whole school Padlet. We can't wait to see what everyone else has created!

Happy reading!

Panorama SEL Survey

This year, students in grades 3-12 will be completing a universal screening tool to assess their social and emotional learning skills. The use of universal screening allows us to refine and strengthen our efforts to help all students achieve success by taking positive and preventative measures as early as possible. This also provides us with the opportunity to assist students who may need additional support with social and emotional learning.
