Eighth Grade Climbs Monadnock!
From the Principal's Desk
Happy Friday Bobcats!
What a beautiful fall day with which to end the week! Our 8th graders climbed up Mount Monadnock, resuming a long-standing tradition to build community and enjoy the fresh air.
We are looking forward to having our 5th & 6th graders visit the Curiosity Cube (https://thecuriositycube.com/), which will be onsite on Tuesday, September 27th. Sponsored by MilliporeSigma, the Cube is designed to spark scientific curiosity and passion, encouraging students to pursue careers in STEM fields. The Cube experiments are led by MilliporeSigma employees, giving students an opportunity to learn from “real life” scientists and ask questions about a future career in STEM! A photo release form to be signed was sent home with your student last week.
Just a reminder that we encourage you to respond to the Student Survey Opt-in form we sent out a bit ago. We survey our students to better understand their perspectives, needs, and thoughts about their school experience, which allows us to plan and implement meaningful and holistic programming. Click here to access the form. Thank you for taking the time to complete this form, as it will help us provide better opportunities and services for all of our students.
Have a great weekend!
Be well,
Kat
