Decidophobia
the fear of making decisions By:Hannah Hedin
symtoms of decidophobia
The symptoms of decidophobia are similar to that of an anxiety disorder, however, the difference is that the symptoms only come about when the person with the phobia is faced with a decision. The decision could be as small as what to eat for breakfast and as large as deciding to buy a new house.
SYMPTOMS:
Dry mouth
Excessive sweating
Muscle tension
Dizziness/nausea
Hyperventilation
Feeling of being stuck
Irrational feeling of impending disaster
How it effects your life
Decidophobia can eventually lead to a person becoming unable to make any sort of personal decision regardless of the severity. This often leads to complete dependence on another person. It can also cause a person to place all of their trust, belief, and money in psychics, astrology, and tarot cards.
