Welcome to Glen Meadow Middle School!

Happy August! While we are certainly not wishing your summer break away, we are excitedly awaiting the return of our Glen Meadow Middle School students on Tuesday, September 7th. In preparation for your child(ren)'s arrival to Glen Meadow, our dedicated administrative assistants and custodial and maintenance staff members have been working very hard to prepare for what promises to be an amazing 2021-2022 school year!

Many exciting events await us in the coming days, and we hope you will be able to join us! On Tuesday, August 17th at 6:00 pm, Glen Meadow Middle School will host a 6th-Grade Parent/Guardian-Student Orientation. Please come to GMMS with your sixth grader to meet the administration, learn all about our amazing clubs and activities, take a student-led tour of the building, learn about the Youth Action Group (Vernon Coalition) and the GMMS SCA while enjoying light refreshments.

On Thursday, August 26th and Friday, August 27th, Glen Meadow is hosting an Open House for all 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade students (and parents/guardians) who would like to informally tour the building, meet the administration and learn about the Youth Action Group (Vernon Coalition), the after-school clubs and activities, and the GMMS SCA. Please feel free to drop in any time between 10:00 am - 12:00 pm to walk your child's schedule.

As always, we are here to work alongside you and your child(ren) throughout the school year. If you should ever have any questions or concerns about your child's education, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. Together, we are stronger! When the school and home collaborate and communicate, we are all working towards one common goal - a successful school year for your child. Thank you for partnering with us throughout the 2021-2022 school year.

Jacquelyn M. Van Orden, Principal

Eric W. Kosek, Assistant Principal
