ONLINE REGISTRATION for incoming kindergarteners and new students
District 15 has launched its first online registration platform, simplifying and expediting the registration process.
Click here to register your incoming kindergartener or new student for the 2019-20 school year.
Upon completion of online registration, parents must show the following documentation in-person to fully complete the registration process:
- Health forms
- Proof of residency
- Birth certificate
- Student transfer forms (if child is transferring from another school)
Second language families still need to attend the Jan. 30 registration so their child(ren) can be screened for language proficiency.
Turn in your residency, health and birth certificate forms during registration events beginning this week. Parents having difficulty completing online registration on their own will have access to computers and assistance during these events as well.
If you complete online registration and cannot attend the registration events, please drop the required forms off at your child's home school during regular office hours. Registration will not be complete until these forms are received.
Wednesday, Jan. 30:
Second Language Families
5-7:30 p.m. at Willow Bend & Winston Campus (parents from anywhere in the district should register their child at these locations if the child's home language is not English)
Willow Bend: 4700 Barker Avenue, Rolling Meadows
Winston Campus: 900 E. Palatine Road, Palatine
*In the event that school is closed due to cold weather, this event will be rescheduled.
Tuesday, Feb. 5:
New Kindergarten Students/New District 15 Families
9:30 a.m.–11 a.m., 1-3 p.m., or 6-8 p.m. at all District 15 elementary schools
*In case of a snow day, the make-up registration day will be Feb. 7.
Please review our registration information website to learn more about registration and the required forms.
Spanish Dual Language
Information regarding two-way immersion Spanish Dual Language (SDL) kindergarten will be available for parents during registration events. An SDL informational night for interested parents will take place at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 27 at Jane Addams Elementary School. Letters of commitment are due in March.
Review district's winter weather protocols
Determining when schools will be closed due to snow is not as simple. There are many variables to consider, including the timing of the snowfall, when roadways may be cleared and the ability to get school buses safely on the roads.
In the event that school will be closed, we will notify families and staff no later than 5:30 a.m. Notifications will be sent through text, email, phone, social media, ccsd15.net, District 15's mobile app and local news outlets.

Win up to $26,450 in 529 College Fund Raffle
By the year 2030, the cost of a four-year college education is expected to exceed $175,000. Enter the one-five Foundation’s 529 College Fund 50/50 Raffle for your chance to win up to $26,450 to offset those expenses.
“The one-five Foundation wanted this fundraiser to have a meaningful education connection. We hope that the winner of this raffle will use the money toward a 529 educational savings plan for themselves or a loved one,” said Mary Zarr, one-five Foundation Chairperson.
Each $100 ticket purchased will earn one entry into the raffle. Only 529 tickets will be available for purchase. Buy tickets online by visiting www.ccsd15.net/529fund.
Half of the money raised through the raffle (up to $26,450) will be retained by the one-five Foundation to further its work enhancing the classroom experience for District 15 students. The other half of the money raised (up to $26,450) will be issued to the raffle winner with the intent that the winner create or contribute to a “529 Plan,” an educational savings program with tax benefits meant to help families fund their child’s future college costs.
The raffle drawing will take place live at 5:29 p.m. on March 17, 2019 through the district's Facebook page. Complete raffle rules, terms and conditions are available at www.ccsd15.net/529fund. District 15 staff members ARE eligible to enter.
