Saints Nicholas of Tolentino, Roch, Sebastian, and Bernardino of Siena, with Kneeling Donors

-The piece was created in 1481

-It can be found in The Metropolitan Museum of Art

-It was painted with actual gold

-The piece is of two people higher up in the church, one on either side. They each have a disciple and each has smaller people worshipping them on their knees. Also, in the sky there is a battle between what seems like angels.

-I think this piece is closely related to individualism. It seems like a religious piece but i noticed the angels battling in the sky. I don’t think most people would paint that.

-I find this piece very interesting because it seems like more and more is going on as you look at it. I feel like there is more going on than what we initially see. for example the different color of robes they are wearing.
