Building Digital Media Literacy

For All Learners

Digital Media Literacy has become a necessary foundational skill for students of the future-ready classroom and all student-centered learning models. It is a combination of skills in accessing and curating digital information, using digital media appropriately, and creating and publishing media that communicates effectively. Participants will explore these areas of Digital Media Literacy in a variety of traditional and digital environments, and will experience ways that the 4C's of 21st Century Learning can be deeply integrated into Digital Media Literacy. Participants should bring digital devices of their choice in order to fully participate in this session. (BYOD, tablet or laptop preferred, smartphone optional)
