For the Parents
Chapter 9- A Future Promise
All families, parents and children alike have a bright future. To get there it is important to learn (and teach) that you have to have resilience in life to get to your goal We all know life isn't always easy. There are many bumps in the road that can stop us from reaching our goals. But as we have learned through this study, there are many ways to be resilient and keep moving forward. Talk to your kids about their future, have them set goals. What is something that they would like to learn? What is a goal for school? What is a goal for the future? Talk to them about what they would need to do to reach those goals. Make a posterboard that has all your goals written out and how you plan to get there. You can even do this as a family so you can all take ownership in making a promise that you will all have bright futures. Your future will always be bright when you stay focuses, optimistic and confident.
