Lively Middle School

May 27, 2022

Greetings Falcon Nation,

Thank you for a wonderful last day of school! Students, teachers, and parents helped to create a memorable moment today and it was nothing short of incredible. I enjoyed seeing our students and teachers have fun. A very special thank you to our Lively PTSA and parent volunteers who helped clean-up, monitor students, and serve snacks. Your continued support is why Lively is a great place to be! It takes a village, and I am forever grateful and honored to walk alongside you as we teach our students together!

Civic Engagement Capstone Fair

Thanks to all of our students who presented their Civic Engagement Capstone Projects this Tuesday at our Capstone Fair. We had many parents and classes come to the fair and received so many great comments about our student’s work! Special thanks goes to Ms. Mau, Ms. Reavis, and Ms. Tipton for supporting our students in their work. After the fair, our Capstone Scholars enjoyed a trip to the park where we enjoyed the beautiful day! Check out some pictures from the Capstone Fair below. Lively Falcons are truly limitless!

8th Grade Celebration: Falcons Take Flight!

It was truly wonderful to see our 8th graders take flight today during their ceremony. We want to thank all of the family and friends who attended to celebrate your students. We had a very special visit from the Lively family to unveil Sarah Beth Lively’s official portrait that made the ceremony even more memorable. Our Wind Ensemble and Orchestra combined to play an incredible piece of music. Our choir sang like angels and our band, dancers, and cheerleaders led our parade into the gym with style! We are so proud of you and love you, Falcons! Fly high!

This year was challenging, but I have enjoyed each day, conversation, hugs, and tears. Please stay safe this summer and I look forward to seeing you.
