4th Grade Moving Up Ceremony - Monday at 9:30
Please remember that we have severe allergies in our school to MINT AND LATEX.
Therefore, we do not permit mint flavored gum or candies and also don't permit balloons to be brought to the ceremony. Please help keep our learning environment safe for all!
4th graders will receive their report cards after the ceremony.

Water Status
Charlestown Elementary School completed a system wide flushing on Friday 5/18/2018 under direction from RIDOH. We have results back from the water samples collected on 5/21/2018.
Seven (7) interior taps sampled inside the school, including the two sites sampled 5/16/2018, had lead results between non-detect (<1 ppb) and 8 ppb. These values are below the EPA lead action level of 15 ppb.
Results from both wells before water treatment remain above the EPA lead action level of 15 ppb.
Per the Department of Health, Charlestown School will remain on bottled water pending the determination of the elevated levels.
Class Placement
Current classroom teachers in grades K-3 have provided their thoughts on preliminary class placements for next year. I anticipate that these will change over the summer as we have students who move in and out of our school.
