Public Schools United
Funding our Future
Schools are drastically underfunded
There is no cause worth supporting more than the education of our children. We strive to encourage pro-education legislation, and to advocate for higher public school funding. We endeavor to cultivate arts programs, higher teacher salaries, technology education, and the development of trade school options for students.
Higher Teacher Salaries
The average starting salary of a teacher is $30,377. We believe that educators deserve larger compensation for their time and energy spent teaching our children.
Funding for the Arts
Funding for education should not come from a series of disjointed grants and donations, but rather from a consistent allocation of the budget designated to art programs.
Technology Education
The advancement of technology leads to the necessity of preparing students for a more digital age.
Trade school: a direct approach for students
Through the funding of trade school, students have the opportunity to take a more direct approach to their desired career after fulfilling all requirements for their junior year.
