February 4-23, 2023: Elk Grove Fine Arts Center “A Celebration of Art with EGUSD"
EGUSD students in grades 9–12 were invited to participate in a new exhibition at the Center. We challenged them to use traditional artistic expression, or to surprise us to make us think, and articulate emotions in new and exciting ways. Award Ribbons will be given during the First Saturday reception. Let’s congratulate and celebrate the 64 students from Elk Grove, Florin, Franklin, Laguna Creek, Monterey Trail, Pleasant Grove, and Sheldon High School for making it into the Elk Grove Fine Arts Center’s Competition and Exhibition.
Last Course Selection date is Feb. 23rd for the 2023-24 school year!
Current 11th grades finished choosing courses
Our 10th graders completed their Course Selection for 11th grade in their Advocacy class. Your child had until Sunday February 19th at 11:59pm to update their course selection.
If your child was absent from school, please have them go to their 11th Grade Google Classroom and complete their four year plan with back-up electives and watch the tutorial video on how to complete course selection in StudentVUE.
We encourage you to look over your child's course selection. HERE are frequently asked questions related to Course Selection. We invite you to reach out to our MTHS Counseling Department if you have any questions. We can be reached at 916-688-0055 or by email to your child's school counselor HERE.
Join us for the always incredible: Impulse Mainstage: March 2nd, 3rd and 4th
Let's Keep Going Strong Together!
Student needs help or has a conflict?
- refer students in "drama" or in "need" to conflict mediation
- seek help by connecting with counselors or admin as needed
- families please partner with us to solve the issues - do not escalate them by adding in family members or approaching our students - talk with admin instead
Students can self refer to conflict mediation as well.
Fill out this form for conflict mediation: google form
Remind students of our Anonymous Incident Reporting system on our website. It allows for anonymous reporting of bullying, self harm, violence, harassment and more. If the person allows us, we can also communicate two way to get additional details while they still remain anonymous if they choose.
