One School One Book Kicks Off Today!
The World According to Humphrey
Every student will be bringing home a copy of the book The World According to Humphrey. A great story about a hamster in a cage that doesn't have a working lock and all of the adventures he has outside of his cage. We hope you enjoy this book as a family and enjoy reading about Humphrey's adventures.
Kid’s Heart Challenge Fundraiser
February is an excellent time for us to host our Kid’s Heart Challenge Fundraiser (formally known as Jump Rope/Hoops for Heart) put on by the American Heart Association. This year is no exception! The plan at this moment is to have our Kick Off Assembly Friday, January 31 and then we will be participating in our activities the week of February 10 – 14, in Physical Education Class with all donations due on Friday, February 14. These dates are dependent upon the weather, which hopefully is better than last year!!!!

NEW Influenza Regulations
New influenza regulations:
"Based on updated recommendations from Kansas Department of Health and Environment, USD #368 school board has updated policy on the management of influenza in school. Any student with a confirmed case of influenza will need to be home from school for 5 days from the onset of symptoms."
Please let Robin or myself know if there are any questions or reported cases as we will be tracking confirmed cases.
