November Newsletter

Hornet Park Elementary

Welcome back!

Welcome back to school everyone. We were excited to see our little friends again. Fall break has ended and so did the warm weather. Don't forget to send your children to school with the appropriate clothing for the weather conditions. We still go outside when it's cold.
Parents are welcome to check the lost and found box for their child's lost items. It is located in the lobby. Items not claimed will be donated at the end of every marking period. Please mark your child's name on their clothing and lunch boxes to help us find the rightful owner.

On November 6th & 7th we will celebrate Grandparents Day from 6 to 7 pm.

  • Kindergarters are invited on November 6th.
  • First graders are invited on November 7th.

Hornet Park students may bring their grandparents to explore the school. Grandparents and students will tour the school while fulfilling a scavenger hunt.
Don't forget there will be a book fair to visit and after buying books you may receive a free bookplate to place in your book designed by the FCCLA Club from the highschool.

Visit the Spirit Stick table to pick up a FREE Grandparents Day stick just for participating. Available only on Nov. 6th and 7th!

Retakes will take place on November 14th. More information to come.
