HOW TO USE - Discussion together as class, small group, individually

  1. ID several major concepts related to the reading = misconceptions & knowledge
  2. Develop a list of statements = 4-6 statements for discussion and clarify misconceptions
  3. Discuss the anticipation guide = introduce guide, discuss, & answer questions
  4. Read the text = compare their responses to what actually is in the book
  5. Discuss each statement again = cite info found while reading that supports or refutes
