Olympic Hills Family Newsletter
It was wonderful seeing so many students and families at the Beep and Greet yesterday!
I'm thrilled to share Olympic Hills has been recognized as one of 222 innovative schools across the country for remote learning practices by the Canopy Project! Check it out here.
As you know, the school district announced the return to in-person learning has been pushed back to March 8th. Bargaining is still in process, and it is very possible the March 8th date will be pushed back again. When we do reopen, we know students in the Focus program will begin first, and students in preschool, K, and 1st will begin about a week after. I want to thank families for your continued patience and flexibility as we wait for more news.
In the meantime, our safety team of staff and parents continues to meet twice per week to prepare. We received a handbook from the district with many covid safety guidelines and procedures that we are customizing for Olympic Hills.
As always, please reach out to me with any questions or feedback.

In the meantime, our Care Team has identified other staff members to check in with many of the students Ms. Paulina was supporting. if your child needs any supports, please reach out to myself, Ms. Toledo, or Ms. Gardner, or another trusted adult at school.
