Week of September 7

Big picture

Hello September!

We are excited about September. A lot of events are happening this month - starting with Labor Day, Monday, September 7. We hope everyone enjoys a well deserved 3 day weekend! Thank you for your hard work and team work as we have started this fantastic school year.

Progress Reports will go out next week to update all families on current grades for the first six weeks. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help.

Just a reminder - school begins at 7:25 every morning. The tardy bell is at 7:30. Thank you for helping us begin our day on time.

We are so appreciative of the partnership with our ROE families.

Virtual Student - Attendance Reminder

Did you know attendance is taken in every course, every day for your virtual or face-to-face student?

Whether your student is attending school in-person or virtually, state education code mandates students must be present 90% of the days a course is offered to be awarded credit for the course and/or to be promoted to the next grade.

Also, truancy guidelines are still effective even if your student is learning in a virtual environment. Please encourage your student to engage every day in every course.

Grades are taken throughout the course of the grading period. We highly recommend participating in live zoom lessons daily and completing each assignment given in order to receive all of the instruction for the class during this grading period. If you cannot participate live, lessons are recorded and assignments are posted for completion before midnight each day.
