Fourth Grade Community Service Project
Helping others and the Environment One Pop Tab at a Time!
In fourth grade Science, we are learning about Ecosystems and Environments. We have recently learned that we, as humans, create a lot of pollution! In fourth grade Social Studies, students are learning about Kindness and how acts of kindness impacts more than just one person.
We are going to start collecting soda pop tabs to send in to the Ronald McDonald House to be recycled. All proceeds from the recycled tabs benefits the Ronald McDonald Family Fund, which helps families with necessities like prescriptions, clothes, and gas while they are staying at one of the Ronald McDonald Houses.
Through this effort, we will be cutting down on our pollution by sending the tabs to be recycled and participating in an act of kindness.
Please help us by sending soda pop tabs in with your child. These can be delivered to Ms. Bates.
