How About a "Just Checking In" Virtual Meeting?
I'm not sure how it is going to work. I've participated in a few Zoom meetings but they were more like get togethers :)
Microsoft Teams is another virtual meeting platform that is already linked to our school email accounts so setting up meetings should be easier (?)
Purpose of the meeting:
- Just to see how everyone is doing
- To experiment and practice with the technology
If you would like to join me, there is a Microsoft Teams App that you can download to your smartphone OR you can use a laptop or desktop computer, too. A camera and microphone are not completely necessary because you can type in (I think).
Be at your device on Monday at 9:00 and you should receive some sort of message that I have started the meeting. We'll see if we can work through all of the issues and have some fun along the way!
As always...stay safe!
Weekly Sign Up Sheets
One Silver Lining...
...a one-year reprieve from the M-STEP.
Did you know that districts are required to monitor that grant funds are only used to supplement, not supplant state and local funds that would be available in the absence of federal funds?
3 presumptions will be considered to determine if supplanting has occurred:
· Presumption #1 – Required by Law or Policy: Supplanting is presumed if a state, district or school uses grant funds to pay for something that it is required to provide under other federal, state or local laws—or by Board policy or bargaining agreements.
· Presumption #2 – Supported Last Year: Supplanting is presumed if a state, district or school uses grant funds to pay for something it supported last year with state or local funds.
· Presumption #3 – Provided to Everyone: Supplanting is presumed if a district uses grant funds to pay for services that the district uses state or local funds to provide the same services in other schools.
