v for vendetta precis
In the book V for Vendetta (2005), James McTeigues, a critically acclaimed author, argues that people need to have their own voices and not be silent in the face of oppression. James makes his point in v’s speech by proving something is wrong, “Systems of surveillance coercing your conformity and soliciting your submission”, saying “the now high chancellor” caused this injustice, and by calling the people to action, “and together we will give them a fourth of November that shall never be forgot”. He exaggerates the issues in today’s society in order to open the eyes of his audience and encourage free thinking. James audience is everyone living in our modern society, he uses a theatrical but serious tone to convey his message.
