We are seeking one Vanguard member in each learning community to participate on the new member committee. As a member of the team, you will earn Activity XP, while shepherding a small group of new members through their on-boarding experience. You will be there to answer questions and monitor their progress in the new member course.

Denecia Driskell is the kind of teacher you wish you could have. Her natural enthusiasm is contagious and her spirit is magnetic. Having her as a fellow Vanguard Team Member at Oakley ES has been a delight. I have watched Ms. Driskell grow sooo much in just a few short years. She started off on our Vanchise Team and served diligently and with a year under her belt being a full member she is definitely going places. Ms. Driskell's drive to do what she can to help her students succeed in the classroom is commendable. She is very tech-savvy and ever ready to try new tech tools with her students and engage them in a variety of ways. Her willingness to find innovative ways to transform learning is exactly what we need to continue to fulfill our Vanguard Mission. KUDOS Ms. Driskell, keep being GREAT!

Hi team!

There will be a slight change for our upcoming School Lead meeting! We originally pushed back the meeting to November 14th in effort to avoid conflicting with GaETC; however, it turns out that Dana, Tammy, and I all have conferences, meetings, and musicals at the same time! We are going to announce a date as soon as we have one selected to hold a live meeting. You are welcome to join us then; however, we would like to remind you that these call are recorded for later viewing. In the event that you are unable to make the new date for this month, we will be posting the link and slide deck as well as diligently checking Teams to answer questions and engage in conversation!
